Synopsis
1995’in unutulmaz anime başyapıtı olan Ghost in the Shell‘den hatırlayacağımız üzere, çok uzak olmayan bir gelecekte insanoğlu gelişmiş yapay organları yaygın olarak kullanmaktadır. Makina ve insanoğlunun bu sibernetik birleşimi her yapay ve doğal evrenler arasındaki sınırı, her zamankinden daha da belirsiz hale getirmiştir. Suçlular bu imkanlardan faydalanmaya başladığında, Japon hükümeti çareyi Section 9 isimli birimi kurmakta bulmuştur. Bütün bunlar, bu diziye de altlık oluşturan orijinal animeden hatırlayacağınız şeylerdi.
Stand Alone Complex dizisi, tam 2 sezona yayılmuş tam 52 bölüm boyunca, Daisuke Aramaki ve Motoko Kusanagi’nin yönettiği Section 9’un, siber suçlularla savaşında yeni hikayeleri konu alıyor.
